Our History
Patrick Rannigan Furniture has designed, cut, sewn, and applied fabric on every type of furniture since 1973. The finished products from our upholstery shop have caught the eye of designers and architects from all over the world. In addition, historic sites including Monticello, Ash Lawn, Keswick Hall and the University of Virginia have utilized our furniture repair services

Will you reupholster my chair with my own fabric?
Yes. We are happy to use your own fabric on your piece.
I have an old sofa which needs frame, padding and spring restoration in addition to fabric replacement. Can you handle this?
Yes we can. We can perform anything from a simple removal and re-installation of fabric to a complete restoration from the bare frame up, including removal of all old elements and professional installation of new.
We own an antique Baker-style sofa with finish tacks around all of the edges. Are you able to produce this original look?
Yes. We can provide and install finish tacks anywhere the frame itself allows. Pricing is based on the individual piece.
